Its clear there was no plan to run the club in a way that gives you the chance to progress.
The only way a club with no money can get out of a hole is to either bring through youth players or buy players cheaply that others see as undervalued (moneyball) and even then you have to be prepared to sell players to finance the growth of the club. (think Maddison and the Murphys)
The amazing thing is they sat and watched a club like Norwich do this and yet did nothing to structure the club in a way to achieve this goal.
Just bizarre. A good manager wont help if you have poor players.
