RE Ipswish debt

It was my understanding that when Evans bought them he reached an agreement to pay a small sum to creditors in return for a huge debt to be written off. However, rather than pass the saving onto the club, the club were in debt to him for the higher amount. Therefore by selling the club he hasn't lost as much money as it may seem.
