Press news in...

Updates from Daniel Farke's pre-Huddersfield Town press conference to come.
----------------------------------------------------------------

DF: We had a few issues during the last game but we have a much better situation now. Max Aarons and Dimitris Giannoulis are fully recovered. Dimitris is back, with Max I'm pretty optimistic he's okay for tomorrow.

DF: I'm carefully optimistic Emi Buendia will be available. He took a hit but we will see how things go in training today.

DF: It was a strange game. The preparation was not great. Eight of my players were involved in games on Wednesday evening, it wasn't possible to focus on Preston until late. But I have to praise my players for their attitude and mentality. The positive is there are no new injuries.

DF: Huddersfield are a brave side, they play with intensity. They have a Leeds influence with their manager being an assistant to Bielsa. I like their style, every game they go for it.

DF: We now that we are in a good position. The first season after relegation is always difficult. We have a great chance to finish in the top two. The Premier League is the best league in the world and everyone wants to be a part of it.

DF: It's 11 games unbeaten, 29 points from the last 11 games. I'm totally pleased with our position and we don't feel any pressure. We are not in a crisis, we are in a top class shape.

DF: Emi's ankle was pretty swollen. It was pretty bloody, he's just had treatment. It's not 100% safe but we are carefully optimistic he'll be available. He's used to getting kicked during games.

DF: Lukas Rupp and Adam Idah aren't available for tomorrow - they aren't back in training yet. We have to wait a little bit.

DF: Michael is doing lots of individual work with our goalkeeping coach. He will join us pretty soon - he's desperate to join us back on the training pitch.

DF: Andrew is full of potential. His football skills and attitude are top class. As a centre-back, you have to play without mistakes.

DF: You also have to make sure they are prepared when you play young players. In the past weeks and past months, he's shown what he is capable of. He has delivered with consistency in training over the past few months. He's convinced us that he's not scared.

DF: The first objective is to win games of football. I have to make sure young players are prepared - I will never throw a young player in for plaudits.

DF: Every club says the youth and their academy is their future, but it's important on how you act. When I get the feeling a player is prepared, I will play - it doesn't matter if he is 18 or whatever.

DF: Not each and every young player is made for shining. I have to praise our academy and the attitude our young lads have. You need to be confident. Bali and Andrew are fantastic lads - it's not a gift that they're involved.

DF: Alex is a pretty important part of our group. He has a legendary status within our club, once everything is clear and what league we're in next season, we'll have an honest chat with those lads. It's important to see what he wants.

DF: Our players know that we'll look after them.

DF: The extra day is not a huge advantage for us. They'll be highly-motivated to get some points.

DF: I'm always grateful for the trust that's been shown in me from our board and key people.

DF: It's not always about consistency and things working out. It's good when you show trust in a manager but it's not always the way.

DF: If we manage to bring promotion over the line, it'll be a great achievement but I wouldn't put it down to our consistency. It's more down to the quality work that happens in different positions.

DF: Before the game, one point in those circumstances against Preston would have been good. But of course there was disappointment in the dressing room after. But after the dust settled, it was a good point. We edged closer to what we want to achieve.

DF: We know we are in a fantastic position and that we don't want to rely on other results.

DF: Xavi and Bali were really good on Friday. They were good going forward, Bali was close to scoring and Xavi had lots of good crosses.

DF: I know this league and I know each and every game is complicated. It's a crazy league and the toughest league in the world. If you're 1% less concentrated, it's not possible to win points.

DF: The table never lies but the only topic that matters is where you are after 46 games.

DF: It's important not to be too down after a few negative results. We want to be top after 46 games, we have to keep going.

DF: It's always better to sort promotion sooner rather than later - it's good for the nerves and good for next season's planning.

That's all from the boss.
