Lloyds is a bank. Lloyd’s is an insurance market in which insurance underwriters reside not brokers!

Having worked at one of the largest brokers that trades at Lloyd’s this is one of the biggest misconceptions.

It’s still possible to make a small fortune at Lloyd’s but you must start with a large one!
