it's difficult to see how next season could be any worse than last season. But, like you said, there is just so little to realistically aim for in the Prem. You can stay up for a few years, but then a couple of bad transfer windows and you end up getting relegated.

Hopefully at least we'll make a decent fist of it in one of the cups. It would be great to get back in Europe as well.

But, ultimately, the Prem is so rotten that there is not really all that much to look forward to for a club of our size and resources. We have certainly had a more entertaining time this season, than we would have done if we had been more successful and stayed up last year. Which doesn't really seem right.
