- Owners who care, really care, about the community and the best interests of the club - but who learned the right lessons, not once but twice
- Great, ambitious people who transformed the club's horizons... and were succeeded by more great, ambitious people following a long term plan and doing so to perfection
- Magnificent youth set-up, playing the same way at all levels: meaning when players emerge, they slot straight in
- A Sporting Director and a manager with a great relationship: they complement each other, there's no egos getting in the way, and they both know what the plan is
- Incredible football, incredible teamplay, every player hugely likeable and part of a collective ethos
- We sell players on, we reinvest, we get stronger, we make a huge virtue of a financial necessity
- A bond scheme which sold out in next to no time, showing how emotionally invested the fanbase is in the entire plan
- Even if we lose the manager at some point, the system is so comprehensive that it *should*, hopefully, be a question of the next man slotting straight in and keeping things going.
It's really brilliant. We might just be the best run football club in England now. And so many people have played their part, starting with the owners themselves.
I've never known so many opposing managers to be so palpably scared of any Norwich City side. And there's executives throughout the game amazed at how visionary and effective our business and footballing model is.
You CAN do it differently, even in this plutocratic beyond belief world. We've proven it. And everyone responsible deserves all the praise in the world.
