Well the point of course is that we should be be able to field our best players

if they are not injured or suspended and I cannot think of a previous equivalent scenario where league matches have ever been played two days after international.

It's not 'revolutionary' to say that we have replacements but is reasonable to say that this situation looks a little unfair, regardless of our league position.
