Early March MOTM nominations..

Here are my early March MOTM award nominations...
1.Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth for having the audacity to make 5 subs and all at once in the recent match against Norwich.
2. Aitor Karanka for walking away from the poison chalice that is Birmingham City
3. Chris Hughton for taking on the poison chalice which is Nottm Forest.
4. Mark Robins for Coventry City for having to play every match away from home. Think of the fuel costs!
5. Swansea boss Steve Cooper
for enduring a tough ride lately of receiving 4 dubious penalty decisions and all in his favour. (3 for. 1 against).

6. Daniel Farke of Norwich for 3 consecutive wins in March up til 14th March on the back of 5 consecutive wins...totally 8 wins in a row. Playing arguably the best football the championship has ever seen if the Sheffield Star is anything to go by. 10pts clear after an injury ravaged first part of the season and on course for an immediate return to the Premier league.

My award goes to...
A) Gareth Ainsworth for being his 'own man' by wearing an expensive white shirt with 3 buttons undone at the end of Feb while not 'conforming' to Daniel Farke methods of wearing a thick overcoat. His pacing up and down the touchline was the best movement by a lead singer /manager the championship has ever seen. His awareness of the game from the touchline shouting his players on to league 1 was incredible. He is also a great guy. Enjoy the award GA.

Sorry Daniel you are just not good enough.

Early Premier league Manager of the Season nominations are:
1. Pep Guardiola of Man City for winning 21 consecutive games in a row. On course to win the Premier league again. Playing the best football the Premier league has ever seen 3 out of the last 4 seasons. And a manager 2 levels above everyone else.

2. Chris Wilder ex Sheff Utd. For amassing an incredible 18 points (up til mid March) and spending over £70m on players yet calling some players rubbish and talking himself out of a job in the process.

My award goes to the unemployed bloke in Sheffield because he won 2 back to back promotions a couple of years ago. Well done Chris again.

Sorry for the long winded post.. couldnt sleep as the vaccine had kicked in lol
