Actually I totally disagree....

Think of our situation before we got in a sporting director.

If they are planning a totally new way of recruiting then it makes sense to bring in a SD and then a football coach.

How many teams have been relegated with an older squad and bounced back up, almost none.
Clearly they need a huge clear out and a recruitment of younger players to make another run at promotion.
This is a huge undertaking.

Wilder will be fine, he will get another job.
There are always lots of bigger teams in the champs looking for a proven name.
