We won't see it coming, but it will happen.
Think Brentford against Barnsley / QPR / Coventry. Swansea at Huddersfield and Bristol City. Watford v QPR.
And back in the previous promotion run in, Leeds v Wigan, Birmingham and QPR.
One team will probably keep going strong, and I think that will be Watford, and they might make it to 90 points.
To hit 90 points, each team needs the following:
Watford: 24 points from 11 games. Tough given their run in, but not unachievable given the quality of their squad
Swansea: 25 points from 13 games. The next 4 games are massive for them - Blackburn away, Luton away, Bournemouth away, Cardiff at home. If they get 2 points per game from that lot, they'll need a further 17 points from 9 games, and their fixtures look favourable until they play Watford on the final day.
Brentford: 27 points from 12 games. Looking at their fixtures, they could do it, but I think they probably (almost certainly) won't. They're coming off a poor run and the pressure is on, they can't afford any slip ups, and that's a tough place to be.
Favourites at the moment have got to be Swansea, although they look a bit ropey they keep on grinding the results out. One of two things is going to happen, either their luck catches up with them and they fall away, or they improve performances and the results keep coming. Their run in looks a bit easier than Watford's, but I think it will be Watford that finish 2nd.
