Buendia is the massive issue

Completely agree with your concerns. For me, it is a given that will sell Aarons for lots of money, and that we will be able to replace him with someone 80% as good for a lot less (or we already have the replacement in Byram / Mumba). I think Cantwell might stay another year so he can be a big fish, but the big worry for me is Emi. I think he will have lots of options, all with much higher wages than we can pay. Yes we will get plenty of cash for him, but he is so important to the way we play (look how toothless we have been when he hasn't played even at Champ level) and it is obviously a massive risk that the recruitment team spend £50 million in a productive way. Defensive midfield, 2 playmakers, another starting centre half, competition for Puuki and maybe a right back would all be needed I think
