Came face to face with a Grizzly Bear on a hike on Friday

After doing some research they are apparently

1. very rare where i live (WA State)

2. are often aggressive and can attack if they see hikers

I was about 30 feet away when I first saw it and we locked eyes. Seems like I'm lucky to still be in one piece.
