I think the club will probably set today out as a deadline for any outgoing first XI

They will have briefed agents that if they can't find a club by the end of today then they stay and work for the team. The club have been pretty proactive transfer-wise so they will try to wrap everything up so we can all get some stability back. Obviously if a really ridiculous offer comes in from a desperate Premier League team that will change.
