The left / the right etc

Can everyone quit with "the left" and "the right" labels please. It's meaningless.

Someone down there said "the left hopes Trump dies of Rona". No it doesn't. Some sick-minded people maybe do. Don't tar everyone who believes in some kind of social justice and common humanity with the patronisning and discriminatory label "the left".
Similar point about "the right".

Learn to make your points in a more nuanced and accurate way. It's in dismissing vast swathes of people as "the ABC" that you dehumanise people and increase division at just the time when that is less needed than ever.
