Well if negligence is the test then he's bang to rights

All the press reports have banged on about him hitting the ball away in anger and frustration, though, so I was expecting something spectacular. Instead it looks totally routine - point's over, he gets the ball out of his pocket and calmly hits it fairly gently towards the rear of the court, without a trace of anger or annoyance. Just looks like a man getting the ball back to the ball boys.
