I didn't even bother looking at the results, or realise Norwich were playing, if it wasn't for my 13 year old son, I might still not know.
I agree on the empty stadiums creating a vacuous void of adrenaline and excitement. I think Norwich's poor performances at home were partly due to the crowd not being there, Carrow Road can be intimidating being an older stadium with the fans 'on top' of the players, compared to the cookie cutter modern stadia.
For me though it was the bungling of last year which has turned me off. I can't believe the number of clappers now on here, where Delia & Co can do no wrong under the 'Little Norwich' shield. It isn't about spending huge sums and presenting high risk, it was about building some depth to a team. Delia has fallen for this now in 4 times, where the relegation had been mainly down to poor squad depth.
Now the EFL cup doesn't matter, because it is tin-pot. What ever happened to the win every game mentality?
