1) Winning helps morale, losing doesn't

2) Losing is a habit, so is winning
3) The squad is plenty big to make cup runs
4) The squad is plenty big. More games mean more chances for players
5) NCFC can always use the money generated from cup runs
6) Cup runs are exciting for fans

Other than that I guess it doesn't matter that they lost today.
