The 'value' of anything (houses/antiques/football players) is only what someone is prepared to pay (and, indeed, what we are prepared to sell for).
I don't think Lewis being sold for around £14 million sets a precedent any more than selling Maddison for £20M-odd or if we'd sold Buendia or Godfrey for £25M.
It's not really firesale stuff is it?
