Kind of felt the same last year.

Just that Roberts, Drmic and Amadou just didn't work.

(Fahmann too, though he did get the best out of Krul)

Suspect it's harder to do the youth/last chance saloon recruitment en masse in the Prem.

If we can get up again and have retained some of this squad, I think the extra experience will make a lot of difference.

And ultimately, the big 'what if' last year will always be around the centre back injuries. If we could have eased Amadou in in centre midfield, rather than forcing him to be an emergency cb. If we could have played with a settled side in the first half of the season, would that have helped?

Lots of luck in this stuff.

But we have definitely added some punch in midfield (Skipp/Sorensen)
Dowell and sinani also look harder to push off the ball.

Hopefully we'll click. And have a bit more luck this year.
