Because the players we would of needed to try stay up probably would of cost

A lot more, spending 8 15 million on one player is a massive risk. Especially then getting releagated.

Spending 2/3 million on a young lad who might storm the championship is worth it.

The squads deeper as you say but they aren’t premier league players! There’s a massive gulf.

Hopefully keeping a Cantwell emi Pukki this season will help if we get promoted again! I hope a few stick around
