It's pretty much the same style of signing as Stiepermann, Vrancic, Leitner, Krul, Drmic.

If he works hard he's skillful enough to challenge Godfrey/Hanley/Zimmermann for a place. If he turns out to be a dick then at least we don't have him on a long term contract...
