Cricket on free to air TV (world cup final, Channel 4)

Directly led to both my nephews and my daughter's brother (all at state schools) - taking up the sport in primary school.

There's lots of different mini cricket that can be played in limited time windows. Lots of schools are now pairing up with junior cricket clubs (at local leisure centres) to offer after school cricket (with coaching).

Having the game on free to air TV does drive interest.
