Just from the brief highlights,

it looked like a team that was playing competitive football just 2 weeks ago against a team that is just beginning preseason. With just 2 weeks break after a highly condensed set of fixtures for many of the first XI, Farke doesn't need to flog them and maybe risk getting more injuries to important players.
