I miss everyone too

I’ve decided to retire a couple of years early, for all sorts of reasons but I wanted the chance to do some different things. Teaching has been a real privilege but it’s exhausting and all consuming and I iz definitely well old grandad.

I decided this at Christmas when I realised how difficult it would be to get to my sister’s wedding which was planned for term time. Around this time we saw the place we thought might be our Next home (after living here for 30 years) and put an offer. This was accepted and then COVID came. Meanwhile the Roth seems to have crashed and burnEd.

It’s been a funny old time. I’m not sure I’ve quite kept up with it all.
