Many moons ago I worked with a guy who was very “old school” and used a tactic for selling life insurance that he described as “backing up the hearse and making them smell the roses”.
Otherwise known as “disturbance techniques”.
Not my way, be straight with people and give them their options.
Crying customers is not good, not at a first meeting anyway 😜
