Norwich City have completed the signing of young midfielder Matthew Dennis.
Dennis, 18, has signed a deal that will run through to the summer of 2022 and joins City after his contract at Arsenal expired.
He joined the Gunners aged six and went on to represent Arsenal at under-18 and under-23 level, scoring in the FA Youth Cup against Southampton in January.
Speaking to canaries.co.uk after arriving at Lotus Training Centre, Dennis said: “I’m really excited. I love the way Norwich play football, especially when the head coach gives young players opportunities.

“I know Josh Martin, as we were both at Arsenal together. He’s a really good friend of mine and seeing him break through to the first team gives me confidence and belief that I can do the same.”
City’s training ground made a good first impression on Dennis, who is champing at the bit to get going in yellow and green.
He added: “The pitches here are great. The gym is nice, the food is nice, so everything is good.
“I’m most looking forward to proving to everybody what I can do, playing in front of the fans and changing the game.”
