There’s a serious amount of delusion around our young players

Clearly they’re all decent players with potential but our 3 young defenders have been almost ever present in a defence that has been absolutely rancid this season and less than impressive even last season.

Is Cantwell any better than Hoolahan? He played for us for 10 years without going to a bigger club.

Buendía blows hot and cold both with his talent and temperament. Hardly Premier League material.

If we had 5 great players in our team we wouldn’t be 14 points adrift at the bottom of the league having amassed the lowest ever points total in the clubs history.
