Isn't bad...
But there's something just not 'quite' right in the mix and balance... to me.
The batting looks fragile (Stokes apart) so I'm not sure why we've brought in two bowlers for a bowler and a batsman.
Also, Curran added some variety to our attack. Archer and Anderson are superb bowlers so I can see why we've wanted to squeeze them in, but this feels more like a Lampard and Gerrard situation ...
We got away with it a bit a few years ago with Stokes/Bairstow/Moeen as their dual roles gave us flexibility and covered up problems in the batting.
I could understand dropping Denly. I can understand dropping Crawley. I'm just at a loss as to why there's not another batsman lined up to be given a chance. Its the area we *need* to fix to be competitive.
