how about someone like Leonard Cohen. does the voice have to have some objective quality like the others i mentioned or emotive like him? even a young elvis had a great voice.

at least one person will appreciate me mentioning Don Van Vliet's voice, so deliberately overpowering. or how about roger chapman of family? extrodinary.

or maybe bobby hatfield? or bobby darin? ever been stuck in a pub when other ppl are ruining their songs and wanting to get up and show everyone how to sing but not having the nerve (or the skill)? :)
