Should we have sacked Mike Walker because we'd been "poor since the Man Utd game"?

I mean, good lord. They sacked the manager who took them up. They sacked the manager who kept them up. They sacked the manager who took them to an FA Cup Final. They sacked the manager who turned them round this season and has *probably* kept them up. In fact, they've just made their going down more likely.
