I agree to a point.....but

I am OK with our level of investment, and understand what the current owners have done for the club. However, the way we have gone down without much of a fight does leave a bitter taste in my mouth. Not picking up a single point from a losing position is an awful stat, and the fact that this is statistically the worst season out of 26 in the top flight doesnt really point to any plan, and to think it is all part of some master strategy seems more like Webber covering his back.

The parts of your post that really grate however are the point where you clearly display contempt for anyone who thinks differently.

"but I can see how it might be anathema to those who have bought into the media led, success at all costs, televisual drama whipped up to maximise viewing numbers and pounds", and....

"Just don't fall into the lazy journalist's trap and don't be led by click-bait nonsense"

It is ok to have a different opinion, and indicating that those who do are just following the media is where you lose me.

I expected us to be relegated, and am fine with, but laying down is not fine with me.
