We don’t have the historical race issues in the UK

So you cannot compare the two.
We have racists in the UK undoubtedly, but not to the scale of the Southern US States.
Also the UK Police force do not deserve to be compared to their US equivalents, I genuinely believe the controls in place for UK Police are infinitely better than in the US.
