I've always thought that was the real answer

Fuck the video control centre in Stockley Park and all that, the ref on the day is the ref on the day. Some are better than others and that's always been the way, and as a smaller club you don't get the rub of the green often. But if the ref wants a second look at something he should get one. Might even give the fourth official something to do - alert the ref that he might want a second look at something. Major incidents only etc.
