McNally did well until he got too big for his boots...

...he was great in those early days when he was suing bulls**t newspapers and helping the club to be a little nastier rather than rolling over, but when the club got to the premier league and established itself, he thought it was all him and that he was bigger than the manager, the players and ultimately the club.

I had a run in with him myself, i'm a no-one, but had a vision along with my mates about getting flags etc in to Carrow Road and improving the atmosphere, I also had opinions on the price of tickets and safestanding, and my opinions didn't line up with his.

He literally tried to have me banned from Carrow Road because my opinion differed from his and because i was vocal about it, and people on twitter were starting to agree with me.

In the end, it was this kind of personal vendetta that he held against people who he didn't agree with that ended his tenure as CEO.

Upsetting other board members and causing them to leave, before having twitter spats when we lost, and eventually with that teenager that saw him "quit" on social media.

He was excellent, at a time we need him to be good.

He was egotistical and made poor decisions, when we needed him to be great.

In fairness, people at the club recognising his good qualities from his bad, allowed the board to make swift decisions when it came to Moxey.

It seems that sometimes, despite many peoples opinions, that lessons do get learnt.
