There’s a few things about this that makes me think there might be one thing in it...

Already we’ve been told that our spending will surprise people this summer.
Add to this the cash from 1+ sales. (I’m convinced we’ve already sold Buendia, personally).
We will not be weighed down by massive wages next season due to the new contracts signed by nearly all of the 1st team squad last year and moving on more big earners such as Klose.
I was told directly that we are looking in alternative leagues for our recruitment this summer. So far the names suggested (or signed already) stack up with this (Romania, Luxembourg, and can’t remember the other midfielder - was it Norway?)
