we started this season playing fast, high risk football. We took the game to the opposition and were widely praised for the quality of our play, despite some poor results. It was only, on the back of getting bullied off the pitch a few times, that we changed it.
We undoubtedly could have stuck with the Plan A and looked to see if the players adapted to the demands of the Prem. But instead, Farke chose Plan B - solid, more physical, lower risk play. And we did get a couple of 1-0 wins as a result. But hindsight suggests it was a terrible decision, considering how much it has blunted our attacking play in the long term.
