No, it's completely failed as a tactic

it hasn't really improved the defence, but has absolutely destroyed our attack.

Interestingly, we didn't really have much pace last season either though. We didn't need to, as we compensated for it by moving the ball so quickly. This year we're moving the ball slowly and have slow players - it's a terrible combination.
