Such as positioning, reading the game and timing when getting tight or knowing when to drop off.

I think he looks okay in a low block but nothing more, but then if he didn’t that would be a real worry.

Probably fair to say the lad needs the chance to work under a good defensive coach to show his real potential.

Can’t be worse than Rupp in midfield, not that I think we will ever see him play there.
