I think it depends on whether it’s done for the sake of it, or because that’s the best place to put it to not take up space in a room.

I’ve got two living rooms: wall mounted 48inch tv in one, because that’s the least intrusive place for it, and 55inch oled not wall mounted in the other, again because that’s what fits the layout of the room.
