Even surpassing Milton Keynes

in local disinterest in the local football team is Stevenage. In the 3 years I worked there I never met one Stevenage fan. In fact, I never even met anyone who themselves knew a Stevenage fan. It's entirely North London overspill and entirely Arsenal or Spurs. The people who go to Broadhall Way are people who can't obtain/afford Arsenal or Spurs tickets. I imagine their overdue despatch from the league will be greeted by wave after wave of indifference. Good riddance.
