because you need 14 to get anything through.

If the top teams are strongly against no relegation if curtailed (i.e. expanding the league) then you could have a situation where you can't get any vote through because there are enough clubs opposed to PPG with relegation but also enough opposed to PPG without relegation!

Which way would the mid table waverers be likely to go on such a vote. I suspect more likely to side with the top 10 but you just don't know. Some of the top 10 probably don;t like PPG full stop as they will miss out on European qualification if it applies.

Interesting if they get deadlock. Do they insist on resolving it before the re-start or do they try and kick the can down the road and hope they never have to deal with it?
