This is true and perhaps I'm in a big minority

but I pay in full by credit/debit each season, so have to wait to get a cheque. It just feels like they're trying to make it as difficult as they possibly can for supporters to claim their money back.

I've been refunded for plenty of events that have been cancelled, all of which have been paid for in the same way and not one has said "oh by the way, we'll send you a cheque".
