I read Baileys Athletic piece on the 7-1 defeat

Gunn says Wes said he was tired at half time but he was the fittest lad in the squad during preseason tests and fitness was fine.

Lambert says he saw Wes in the tunnel during the game and saw he was overweight so when he became manager he told him he wasn't getting near the team and told him to get a grip.
