The facts are all completely clear.
Aren't they?
The story is that that the police and the scientists feel that they have been undermined by the confirmed actions of Dominic Cummings and that this undermining is likely to lead to significant public harm including unneccessary deaths.
Not a minor thing.
Also Tory MPs up to and including cabinet ministers feel that the confirmed actions of Dominic Cummings have reduced the authority and credibility of the government at a time when this might lead to significant public harm including unneccessary deaths.
I haven't made either of these things up. Read any paper, including that left-wing Remainer bastion the Daily Mail; or check any online news source that Cummings doesn't write himself. Conservative Home, for example.
Oh, and he's clearly lied, and his wife has lied too, all on the record. He's a senior - the most senior - government advisor. So this probably isn't good.
This is about as far from a non-story as it's possible to get.
