Maybe I'm not closed minded enough to see the big picture.
He looked after himself and his family, and I can understand it even if it technically broke the "rules" (not laws)

The proportionality of the response is simply ridiculous.

Maybe its just a distraction the country needs.

FWIW I'm not so much defending him but pointing out the hypocrisy of the people/system beating him down.
