Forget Louisa and the pen lid, this just got serious

Back from my ride (13.4 miles, 584 feet of ascent, 4 minute improvement on last time I did it, TdF here we come) and in the last 100 yards I SWALLOWED A FLY.

I'm not talking itty bitty greenfly, I'm talking a big hairy legged motherf**king buzzing dirty great black housefly. I could feel it struggling in my gullet as I tried to cough it out but ended up reflex-swallowing it.

I think I may never recover from the psychological scars
