Is it doesn't matter if something is 99% proven. They will accept something until it is 100% certain. Otherwise they feel entitled to doubt everything.

Which is another safe world they can justify. Because nothing is ever 100% certain. So they can stay comforted that they are the ones that are away, and it's others who are 'sheeple'
