Guidance vs law

By law you were (still are) allowed out with reasonable excuse. You were (still are) allowed out to prevent a harm.

He moved to be closer to a support network for his kid in the event he and wife got struck down badly (back when none of us really knew how bad coronavirus was)

We had the same back up plan. No way I'd have kept our 4 kids in a situatuon where they'd be left to fend for themselves/social services if we were rushed to hospital.
