Wrath advice please peeps

My phone (Samsung Galaxy A3) is getting a bit long in the tooth and a bit slow. Looking to get a new one. Don't need all the top end stuff, and don't use it to watch movies, vids etc. mainly need a decent camera, decent size screen for Viewranger, gyro etc for navigating. Mid range round about 300 and SIM free. Had settled on Samsung A51 but there seem to be a few contenders in the Chinese stable around.
Anyone got any advice/recommendations?
