What interests me here (apart from the doctor asking leading questions) is how

Doctors and psychologists diagnose articulate,intelligent people. For example we had a person who came to our house,basically to die.they were mid thirties,university educated but schizophrenic but had a bloody great tumour. They were convinced they wouldn't die,they did a capacity assessment and the person was deemed to have capacity. Basically because they could string a sentence together.
